About the Founder
Daniel Kockel has over 16 years of aviation experience and has led the expansion of operations across Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean, securing complex compliance approvals, scaling fleets, and building robust safety and training systems. His career spans piloting, aircraft maintenance, experimental aircraft building, training, international project support, major modifications (STC) and operations management. This diverse background gives him a rare ability to bridge technical precision with operational strategy—offering clients solutions that are both practical in execution and aligned with long-term growth.
As Director of Flight Operations at Airmedic and Aviation Manager at Kasi Aviation (Hexagon), Daniel played key roles in scaling fleets, introducing new aircraft types, modernizing manuals and training programs, and successfully guiding companies through regulatory audits and international expansion. He has established safety management systems, emergency response programs, and training frameworks that remain in use today.
Drawing on this track record, Daniel founded Juno Aviation Inc. to deliver tailored consulting services that strengthen compliance, efficiency, and safety for Canadian Aviation SMEs, helping organizations achieve sustainable growth in a highly regulated industry.
